This auction features a fantastic and very rare example of an authentic WW1 British .303 SMLE Tin Trench Mirror. This very rare piece still features much of its original green paint, and while it is in stunning condition for its age, it also clearly demonstrates evidence of use in the trenches of the First World War - but without any structural damage. This is undoubtedly a museum-quality piece. As this item was sourced in Canada, there is a strong likelihood that it was used by a Canadian during the war.
