Description
This is a beautiful old pottery storytelling doll made by hand with clay and fired in an open-pit firing process. The bottom of the doll there is writing that indicates it was made by "DLS, Jemez Pueblo." There are eight little children on this Jemez Storyteller. One is has been repaired but still missing an arm (sitting on leg). Wonderful artistry and rich cultural Jemez history -- great for a collection. She measures about 5 1/2" from the base to the top of her hair.
