For sale is one original oil dipstick.
P/N 3981019
Correct for Corvettes 1976 2nd design, 1977-1979
This 2nd design dipstick measures 20 inches from the top of the cap to the full mark.
It features the green tip on the handle.
The handle shows some spots where the original finish has worn away and oxidation has started to form (Pictures).
The dipstick shows discoloration/staining throughout, as well as some spots of oxidation (Pictures).
Please look the pictures over to see the stampings on this dipstick - many service replacements (even made by GM) did not have the factory stampings originally found on the dipsticks that came with the Corvettes.
