For sale is one used oil filter canister.
P/N 5574538 (Filter Kit)
Correct for Corvettes 1958-1967 (8cyl.)
The canister is the taller design that measures approximately 6-3/4" tall.
At some point, the canister was cleaned up and the exterior was painted a satin black.
The interior of the canister was left bare.
The cleaning process revealed some pitting inside the canister.
At some point it was exposed to moisture, which allowed some light oxidation to form on the inside (see pictures).
There are some small marks and dings on the outside, from when it was in storage with other parts.
The bolt hole is in good condition and is not wobbled.
There is no bolt included.
There is no oil filter element included, you will have to source one on your own. According to GM Parts Books, you will need to use filter element AC TYPE PF-141.
