Description: Large size, Holding rattle and bow with cloth kilt and yarn attachments; very nicely worked; well formed torso, legs, hands and arms, strong and clean paint, nice patina with age, very attractive.
The badger or Honan Kachina in the old days was a curing kachina that the Honani Clan brought from the ancient village of Kisiwu. The more modern badger kachina may have the same function. Here, he holds a bow and a rattle.
