    Description

    If you have a  1982 - 92 Camaro or Firebird, and would like to install an earlier V8, using the original 82-92 exhaust  manifolds, then YOU NEED THIS PAN ! The earlier V8 used a driver's side dipstick, located into the block. The Camaro and Firebird exhaust manifold blocks this off ! That is when GM went to the passenger side dipstick ( located down low in the block.) GM  made this hybrid pan for one or two years, and I have replicated it. With this pan, you can use the old block and the later exhaust manifolds (which you HAVE to do to retain the stock exhaust system). The new dipstick tube goes through the drivers side of the oil pan and connects at top to an exhaust manifold stud/bolt. I am providing a NEW dipstick and tube, which is no longer available from GM. This pan also works on the 1978- 1981 ?? Malibu and ElCamino. Shipping will be higher to OTHER than lower 48 states ! Thanks for looking,ask questions if you have any.
