SMLE Charger Clips Stripper Clips Mk III Kynoch Marked 303

Description

A set of two authentic and original
charger or stripper clips for the SMLE No.1 Mk III rifle. This is the Mk III pattern. The Mk III was adopted in 1916 and quickly superseded by the Mk IV. Both of these bear a Kynoch maker's mark.
These are in excellent condition with minimal surface oxidization. They have not been refinished like many milsurp clips. The top one is untouched and retains a lovely finish. The lower one shows some loss of finish from use, and also where I brushed off some dirt. They do hold their rounds very nicely if you plan to shoot with them!
These are quite scarce and much sought after by collectors, reenactors, and shooters. The Mk III charger had a very short service life and was typically discarded when the Mk IV became available. This is a rare opportunity to acquire two examples from the same maker.
